Are organic meats safer than conventional meats?
The answer to whether organic meats are safer than conventional meats is a resounding YES! Mad cow disease has developed simply because the animals were forced to feed on the remains of the same species. This has the same effect as a human eating another human being. The animals have developed a condition that completely destroys the central nervous system. The same applies when humans eat the contaminated meats. As such the best way to eliminate the risk of mad cow disease, which in humans is called Creutzfeld Jacob Disease, is to not eat the conventional meats, but rather go the route of organic route.
Organic meats come from animals raised in a more natural way. Instead of test tube formation, the animals are born naturally. They feed on nutrition rich organic feeds, which are free from any antibiotics and drugs. If you consume meats from animals raised in the factory type farms, you get all the drugs into your system. As such purchase organic meats, which are free from any of the drugs, genetic modifications, and any traces of mad cow disease.
The animals from which the organic meats are derived, are raised in a humane manner. The manure is used for fertilization. When too many animals are grouped together in a confined space, the manure becomes a health risk, not only to the animals, but also humans. Overspills of the manure find their way to underground water sources which can lead to the outbreak of a variety of illnesses.
When you purchase organic meats, you do your part for the environment, animal care, and at the end of the day – your family’s health.
